Collie Herb - Vitamin D. Als Collie Herb den Song schrieb, konnte er noch gar nicht ahnen, wie gut er in die aktuelle Covid19-Zeit reinpassen würde. In «Vitamin D» geht es darum, in einer selbst gewählten Quarantäne zu verweilen, während draussen das Leben spielt. Da ein Videodreh aufgrund der Corona-Situation nicht möglich war, tat sich Collie Herb mit der aufstrebenden Filmemacherin Nina Sörés zusammen, die einen animierten Video Clip zur Story des Songs gestaltete. I am so happy to present the Acoustic Session of my single "Close to You" Live at The Hallowed Halls! I wanted to create a live visual experience of this song, but I was inspired to try something different than how it was originally recorded. I felt that a more classical approach would create an even more emotional and intimate performance. "Close to You" is about wanting to be seen and understood by those closest to you, and the complicated dynamic that can exist between two humans who care so much about one another. This song means so much to me, and I couldn't be more grateful for those who helped bring this to life. It would mean the world if you would share this with your community!
